Where It Is
This area covers the northeast corner of Ivins along Tuacahn Drive, where the desert floor meets the red cliffs at the mouth of Padre Canyon. Tuacahn Amphitheatre is at the top of the drive, and the Snow Canyon State Park entrance and the Red Cliffs Desert Reserve are close by.
Neighborhoods
Subdivisions here include Padre Canyon Estates, with single-family homes on view lots facing the canyon wall, and Padre Lakes, a townhome community off Tuacahn Drive. Sentierre, a resort with privately owned villas, is under construction at the mouth of Padre Canyon. Each has its own HOA and rules, including any rental rules.
Schools and Access
Washington County School District assigns schools by address, and boundaries change as schools open and close. Confirm the current elementary, intermediate, middle, and high school for a specific home with the district before you rely on it. Most of Ivins is generally served by Red Mountain Elementary in Ivins, then secondary schools in Santa Clara and St. George, but confirm for the specific address.
