Where Sky Mountain Is
Sky Mountain is a neighborhood on the elevated bench on the north side of Hurricane, around the public Sky Mountain Golf Course at 1030 N. 2600 West. The setting looks out over red sandstone and black lava toward Pine Valley Mountain, and on clear days toward Zion.
Golf and Amenities
Sky Mountain Golf Course is a public 18-hole course owned and operated by the City of Hurricane; it opened in 1994. Within the neighborhood, Sky Mountain Golf Estates has its own HOA with a clubhouse, a heated pool and spa, and a weight room for its members. The neighborhood is not gated.
Recreation Nearby
Quail Creek and Sand Hollow state parks are a short drive away, and SR-9 leads east toward Zion National Park.
Schools
Washington County School District assigns schools by address, and Hurricane-area boundaries have shifted as new phases are built. Confirm the current elementary, intermediate, middle, and high school for a specific home with the district before you rely on it.
