Where Washington Fields Is
Washington Fields is the broad area south of the Virgin River in Washington City, along Washington Fields Road, with some areas on the adjoining east edge of St. George. It was historically the farmland that sustained early Washington, watered by the Washington Fields Dam and canal system. It is a general area rather than one development, covering many subdivisions and master plans built by different builders over many years.
Homes and Character
Expect mostly newer single-family homes, many in HOA subdivisions with their own rules, plus some larger-lot and horse-friendly pockets that may have no HOA. Some lots use secondary irrigation water for outdoor watering. Because the area is still growing, roads, parks, and schools continue to be added, and some connector roads are not finished yet. Nearby, Little Valley sits just to the southwest in St. George.
Schools
Washington County School District assigns schools by address, and boundaries change as new schools open. Confirm the current elementary, intermediate, middle, and high school for a specific home with the district's boundary tool before you rely on it.
