Where The Ledges Is
The Ledges sits off State Route 18 on the north side of St. George, about five miles north of Bluff Street, with a St. George address at 1585 Ledges Parkway for the golf club. It is a couple of minutes from the north entrance of Snow Canyon State Park, and a paved walking and biking trail runs from the community toward that entrance. Terrain here is higher and more dramatic than the valley floor, with red rock, black lava, and views toward the Pine Valley Mountains.
Golf and Lifestyle
The community is built around The Ledges Golf Club, an 18-hole, par-72 course designed by Matt Dye that opened in 2007 and plays to about 7,200 yards from the back tees. The clubhouse includes a golf shop and the Fish Rock Grille, and the course and restaurant are open to the public. Housing ranges from condominium-style homes and villas to single-family homes and custom homesites across a number of individually named neighborhoods, some with their own pools and HOA rules. Some villas operate as vacation rentals, while other neighborhoods are primarily owner-occupied.
Schools and Access
Washington County School District assigns schools by address, and boundaries change as new schools open. Confirm the current elementary, intermediate, middle, and high school for a specific home with the district's boundary tool before you rely on it. Neighboring Winchester Hills and Diamond Valley sit just up the same SR-18 corridor.
